There’s a common misbelief that cats are cold, distant, and not social. To prove otherwise, on World Social Media Day, we gave Pedrito —a rescue cat— a very special job: he became the first-ever Cat Community Manager: The Community Cat.

Through a Facebook Live event, Pedrito took over the Affinity Foundation’s Facebook profile and engaged with audiences, answering questions and proving that cats can be just as social as their human companions.
